[Recipe Time!] Chocolate Lava Cake <3

As you know, when I'm writing and I need a break, I bust out the cupcake tins, cookie sheets and and ALL the sugar. One of my fav treats when we have some dark chocolate around the house are Chocolate Lava Cakes! I don't have any pics of the inside because I might have gobbled this up so quickly I forgot...

Check out the recipe below!

The thing I love about these is that they are soooo easy to make. Almost too easy, like wake up at midnight and sneak a few easy!

Ingredients

  • Baking spray, for spraying custard cups
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Spray four custard cups with baking spray and place on a baking sheet.

Microwave the butter, bittersweet chocolate and semisweet chocolate in a large bowl on high until the butter is melted, about 1 minute. Whisk until the chocolate is also melted. Stir in the sugar until well blended. Whisk in the eggs and egg yolks, then add the vanilla. Stir in the flour. Divide the mixture among the custard cups.

Bake until the sides are firm and the centers are soft, about 13 minutes. Let stand 1 minute. Invert on individual plates while warm and serve with vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy and don't burn your lips on that delicious delicious molten chocolate. Not that I did that or anything...

[Baking Time!] Peanut Butter Cupcakes!!!

The Chocolate and Peanut Butter Deliciousness You've Been Waiting For!! <3

This recipe is a mouth watering, chocolate and peanut butter overload! You have been warned! And it's also addictive, so make sure you don't sit with these for too long alone or you will devour the ENTIRE tray!

I loved this recipe the first time I made it and I've loved it ever since. The original recipe was for a cake, but she also does cupcakes and it's a great way to up the peanut butter cup intake because you always needed more Reese's Cups! LOLOL!
